Fueled by a volatile blend of emotion, experience, imagination and intuition, Nico Rivers has been haunting the stage since his youth. Following a youth spent playing in bands with boyhood friends on Massachusetts’ ghostly South Shore, Nico Rivers packed his car full of guitars and a few sentimental possessions and turned his boots west.

After wandering back and forth across the United States three times, he planted new roots in Los Angeles in 2009 when he formed the group Pine Mountain Casket. The band decided to go their separate ways in late 2011, and Nico saw an opportunity to further push his music by pursuing a career as a singer/songwriter.

If he had been born 60 years earlier he would have spent his days hopping rail cars with a dusty cap and beat up guitar searching for the next juke house jam. When he isn’t serenading the moon or curling up with a bottle of moonshine, Nico has been hard at work on his first solo tour throughout the Southwestern US.
